Commodities on the Yahoo auction platform are sold in the form of auctions, usually with two purchase methods: [Direct-purchase] and [To Bid].
When you make a direct purchase or bidding auction, HOYOYO's system will automatically process it, and 24-hour real-time bidding will ensure that your order can be processed in a timely and effective manner. After the system automatically wins the auction, our purchaser teams will communicate with the seller and pay for the order, and you do not need to perform any additional operations.

Direct-purchase

Direct purchase is the way to skip the bidding process and directly win the bid by paying directly the amount set by the seller on the product. This way of purchase can avoid competition with other bidders and ensure that the goods can be purchased asap.

Whether a product can be directly purchased through a Direct-purchase depends on whether the seller has set a direct purchase price for it. If the logo of [Direct-purchase] appears in the system, it indicates that the product can be directly purchased through the purchase price.


o Bid

To Bid is a characteristic purchase method of Japan Yahoo Auctions. Through mutual bidding, different users compete for their favourite products, making people feel like they are in an auction.


Auction process

1. After finding the desired product, click [To Bid] to enter your [My Bid]**Your Max wish price**. According to the rules of Yahoo Auctions, bids cannot be cancelled. Please make sure that it is correct before placing a bid. If you have a special request/remark for the product. For example, colour, size, etc., can be explained in the remark column when placing order. If it wins the bid, HOYOYO will choose the domestic transportation method with tracking number method for you by default, so as to ensure that the goods can be delivered accurately, and it is also convenient for damage claims. If you want to choose the most economical way of shipping in Japan, and choose the option without tracking, If the goods lost in transit, can not be claimed from the courier or HOYOYO.

Additional Bid Price

When your preset maximum price is exceeded by others, you can bid for the item again by revised price bidding.

The funds frozen in the previous bid cannot be used in this bid, but are automatically released and returned to the HOYOYO account available balance when the price is exceeded.

Bidding Mechanism of Yahoo Auctions

The Yahoo auction system adopts the automatic bidding method. When you bid, the system will not immediately increase the current price to your bid, but will increase it to [current price + bid unit].

If someone else bids at the same time, the system will continue to automatically increase the bid until the current price exceeds your maximum bid. The current price of the product corresponds to the bidding unit range as shown on the right:

A. You bid 60,000 yen, and the current price will become 45,000 + 500 = 45,500 yen. As of the end of the auction, if no one else bids, you will win the bid with 45,500 yen!

B. If there are other bidders who raise the bidding price, such as 50,000 yen, the system will automatically help you increase the price to 51,000 yen, and the winner is still you!

C. Before the auction ends, knowing that there are other bidders, the system will automatically increase the bid according to the bidding price until the current price exceeds your bid by 60,000 yen, then will be lost on this bid.

Auction success

When wins the bid, our system and the orderer will communicate with the seller and pay the price of the product for you, and you don't need to perform additional operations;
When the products arrive at the HOYOYO Japan warehouse, you will receive a notification email from HOYOYO, then you can arrange direct shipping or combine other orders to ship.
If there is a difference between your winning bid price and your maximum amount, it will be automatically settled and refunded when the auction ends.

Auction failed

Once your preset maximum price is exceeded, HOYOYO will remind you by email.
You can raise your bidding price at any time before the auction ends. If your bid doesn't win in the auction, you don't need to take any additional action. The frozen balance will release and refund back to your HOYOYO account available balance immediately.

Auction cancelled

Due to the personal judgement of some sellers or the recognition of the Yahoo auction system, for the products that have successfully bid or have won the bid, the bid still may be cancelled. If this happens, your order will be automatically cancelled. And the frozen balance will release and refund back to your HOYOYO account available balance immediately.

Note: Although the price you bid at the time will definitely be successful, the behaviour of "HOYOYO" in the Yahoo auction will be slightly delayed on the time of your purchase; if the competition is fierce, your bid may still fail. Therefore, it is recommended to slightly raise the price for popular and rare items, while raising the price will not cause the items to be unreasonably priced.

【last 6 minutes】 The HOYOYO bidding system will only bid for you 6 minutes before the auction deadline, which can hide your bidding price of certain extent; but please note that before the bidding time comes, your bid may have been bid by others exceeds, but because there is no "actual bidding", you will not be notified in advance (and Yahoo Auctions will not notify us); if you want to increase the success rate of winning bids, please choose the method of "To bid" or estimate the time and pay attention to the bidding situation as much as possible.

You can also convert the Bid order to “To bid” at any time before the bid time ends. [Direct-purchase] If the seller has set a direct purchase price, you can directly buy the item in the "Direct-purchase" way. The HOYOYO auction system will also try to request the "Direct-purchase" to go to Yahoo auction to help you proceed to bid.
 
1. Are there any items that Hoyoyo cannot send? (Contraband)
(a) Information on flammable, perishable or toxic, explosive, lethal, corrosive and radioactive dangerous goods
(b) Drugs or drug-related paraphernalia 
(c) Live animals, plants or seeds 
(d) Currency, VAT invoices, other tax stamps or securities, gold and silver treasures, antiques, precious metals, etc. 

 2. In addition to Yahoo, Mercari and Rakuten products, can I place an order to purchase products from other Japanese websites?
Yes, as long as there is a website, most of the products can be purchased. However, if you are not sure whether it can be delivered, kindly check with our Customer Services teams before you place an order.

 3. How to distinguish whether it is an individual seller or a store? 
If a store has consumption tax, it will be listed next to the price and on the left side of the product details, and the seller information will display the words like “Buy products from stores/official store. if there is a problem with the product, purchase on store seller they are more willing to deal with it.

 4. If I win the bid, can I give up the bid I have placed or won? 
Due to integrity issues, and to protect the ratings, interests of Yahoo Japan sellers and Yahoo Japan accounts, ordered cannot be cancelled once successfully placed bid.

 5. How can I know if the seller has set a minimum bid price?
 Japan YAHOO Bidding: On the bidding page ※「现在の価格」は最低落札価格に达していません. It means that the seller has set the lowest bid price. If the bid price does not reach the lowest bid price set by the seller when the bid closing time, the highest bidder will display "なし", which means that no one wins the bid! If the bid price exceeds the minimum bid price set by the seller, ※「现在の価格」は最低落札価格に达していません(the lowers price). These words will disappear, and the highest bidder will be shown the bidding account with the highest bid!

 6. How do I increase the price?
 Before the product bid ends, you can go to the "Shop/bid goods" page, find the bidding order, and select "revise price" to fill in the maximum bid amount. ※You need to have enough balance in the account to use the price increase function.

 7. Purchasing process When you make a bid through [HOYOYO's Yahoo Purchasing Service], the bidding will be carried out automatically instead of manual processing. If there is a higher bid than you on the Yahoo website, your auction item will enter the status of "below the current price", and we will notify you immediately, you can decide whether to increase the bid, or give up the auction.

 8. If the seller has specified a set price, do I need to wait for the product to complete the bid before I can successfully win it? No, if you decide to purchase with the set price immediate, and the goods will be automatically completed. However, there are also cases where the seller has several identical products. After the customer places an order, the Japanese Yahoo page is still in the bidding process. In this case, it may be necessary to wait for the bid to be completed before the product status can be displayed or updated.

 I have used the reservation function for the last 6 minutes, why am I still unable to win the bid?
If you fail to win the bid after applying for the last 6 minutes to bid, you may not win the bid due to the following possibilities: → The maximum bid amount you submitted has been exceeded by other bidders before the end of the auction.
